A delightful hide-away located on double-size lot which provides a large garden setting for this newer villa in Cozumel. Enter the front gate to a lush tropical setting with pathway curving to the private pool/courtyard and this impressive villa. The perfectly symmetrical design of the villa is pleasing both inside and out. First floor has two bedrooms, two baths and has a full kitchen with dining area, living room seating area and screened palapa patio living area. Hacienda Izamal offers purified water throughout the house (water is purified by ultra violet light plus reverse osmosis system). Kitchen is equipped with all appliances and has double sink, 4-burner gas stove, overhead microwave, coffeemaker and blender and all dishware and silverware. Dining room has seating for 8 plus additional seating at the lunch counter. French doors lead from the dining area to a spacious 27-foot by 18-foot palapa furnished with comfortable sofa (double futon) and chairs. This room is screened on 3 sides with pleasant garden views and plenty of fresh air and dual ceiling fans to circulate the air. Both bedrooms on the main level have queen beds, wall-mounted cable TVs with VCRs, French doors to the pool/patio area and built-in closets. One bedroom has a private bath and the other bedroom has bath just off the hall. Upstairs is the master bedroom with king bed, cable TV, VCR, private bath and French doors to second story balcony. A separate alcove has desk and small seating area. Hacienda Izamal is also equipped with CD/stereo (with speakers in the palapa, living area and poolside), assorted movies, books and board games. Large two-level swimming pool is a perfect place for a refreshing dip, day or night. Palapa topped tables are built-in on each side of the pool for a delight spot for morning coffee or cold beer in the evening. A gas barbecue grill is located on the front patio.
