Location: In a quiet, tranquil residential community just 75 miles south of Cancun, Villa Iguana is located on beautiful Soliman Bay on Mexico's stunning Riviera Maya. From its beachside palapa to its rooftop sunbathing terrace, this home is sure to please. Guests will adore this idyllic beachfront villa, brimming with a full list of amenities.
Front garden is immaculately kept and includes a large dining terrace which provides shelter from the sea breeze. (Don’t forget to say hi to Iggy the iguana who guards the private driveway).
First level of Villa Iguana features an open floor plan with spacious living room, dining room and kitchen. In the living area is a built-in L-shaped sofa facing the pool, patio and ocean.
Double sliding glass doors lead to a covered terrace and pool area. Lean back in one of the many chaise lounges and let your vacation begin! There is also patio seating area with comfy sofas. A lovely beach palapa provides shade and is the ideal place to hang a hammock. The luscious Caribbean is always sparkling blue and Villa Iguana provides several sea kayaks and so that you can take full advantage of the glorious Caribbean waters.
All bedrooms have satellite TV and DVD as well as private bathrooms decorated with handpainted Mexican Talavera tiles. The first guest bedroom is located on the first level with sliding glass doors that open to the oceanfront pool and patio area. The master and second guest bedrooms are on the second floor, each with private terrace. Enjoy your morning coffee on your private balcony and watch the brilliant colors of the blue water and green palms become more intense as the sun rises over pristine Soliman Bay.
The fourth bedroom is situated on the third level. Large windows provide excellent views as well as cool breezes. With the windows open you can drift off to sleep to the sound of gentle waves.
Fifth bedroom is located in the guesthouse. The large casita has a king size bed plus a queen and a private bath & kitchen.
Villa Iguana also has a computer, free satellite internet and satellite TV. Full maid and gardening service is included in the price as well as continental breakfast Monday through Saturday, plus the chef is available to prepare additional meals for you. Current chef service prices are $500 weekly for 2 meals per day, plus the cost of groceries and shopping fee. Dinner only is $10/person plus groceries and shopping fee. With all these extras, you will feel like this truly is the ultimate vacation experience.
