Casa Akumal Sunrise, on the beach in South Akumal, is refreshing and airy yet cozy and casual. Have the best of both worlds with sand, sun and snorkeling right out your door, and air-conditioned comfort inside. This vacation property is the spacious first floor of a two-story villa and has central AC, two bedrooms with king-size beds, two bathrooms, and an entertainment room with two single beds. The studio with the two singles is separated from the living room by lowering a pair of split bamboo blinds between the two rooms. The master bedroom has an ocean view and private bath, the 2nd bedroom has a garden view and shares the bath with the studio.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a 4 burner stove, microwave, toaster, blender and coffeemaker. A lunch counter with bar stools is a good spot for socializing or casual meals. For more formal meals a dining room between the kitchen and living room seats six. The living room is comfortably furnished with white wicker furniture; sliding glass doors open to a beach side patio shaded by the second floor balcony. This is a nice refuge from the sun and a perfect vantage point for enjoying the Caribbean view while you gather with friends or family.
A little closer to the water is the palapa with several hammocks strung between palms. This is the perfect spot to relax and unwind while taking in the gorgous surroundings.
