While not oceanfront, Casa Maleno is just a 3 minute walk to the main beach on Akumal Bay. It offers "almost beachfront" convenience and luxury at an affordable price. In fact, all of the restaurants, stores and dive shops of Akumal are within easy walking distance, you could get by without a rental car if you choose.
Casa Maleno was designed and constructed not for the purpose of a rental property, but as a second home for the owners. It is furnished accordingly, with truly all of the conveniences to make you feel at home.
The living rom is comfortably furnished in deep wine, caramel and mossy green. Extra furnishings in wicker and bamboo keep the room airy and tropical. Satellite TV is provided along with VCR/DVD/stereo and a good selection of movies are provided or you may bring your own.
Spacious kitchen features a brick dome over the center island. You'll find everything you need to prepare light snacks or a full course gourmet meal. Or, if you choose, a cook can be arranged to prepare meals in the villa.
There are three bedrooms, including two guest bedrooms (both with queen size bed and private bath) and the master suite (with king size bed and color TV, plus ample sized walk-in closet with safe for valuables and an oversized bath with double sink vanity, glass block shower with two shower heads and sliding glass doors to a covered terrace).
Private swimming pool with built in bench and a natural stone waterfall are a "cool" place to spend the day. Poolside patio also offers a shower, full outdoor kitchen with gas grill and a palapa roof.
Casa Maleno is fully air conditioned and also has ceiling fans in every room and each terrace so you will be comfortable inside and out!
