If you are looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful location with all the comforts of home, the Casa Caribena fulfills your dreams. This is a newer property with 2,600 square feet of living area. Located directly on a sandy beach, you can refresh your spirit in the pool, relax in the hammocks or lounge under the shade of the large palapa (thatched roof) and enjoy the gentle sea breezes. While away your time watching the sparkling colors of the Caribbean, build a sand castle, splash in the sea or snorkel in the bay. Or head to the freshwater cenote located just a couple blocks away. There you can snorkel in crystal clear waters where manatees sometimes can be seen. There is scuba diving and excellent snorkeling right in the bay. You can also enjoy excursions to Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza, Tulum and Coba. Or explore the jungles where you'll find caves with dramatic formations. The Casa Caribena is a 3 Bedroom, 3 bath vacation property that can accommodate up to 8 guests . The friendly staff will make sure that you are pampered during your stay! Casa Caribena has an excellent cook available to prepare your breakfast and dinner each day (you just pay for groceries and a tip would be appropriate). If you choose to go out, there are two restaurants within walking distance and many more within a 10 minute drive. The gardener at the Caribena also works at a resort as a masseur. He is available at the Caribena for guests who would like a soothing massage. Other extras available at Casa Caribena: Cook service is included Grocery shopping: Fee is 50 pesos (about $5 US) if the cook goes with you; or 150 pesos (approx. $15) if the cook goes for you (includes taxi fare) Maids, if they are available, can work extra hours at your request. Rate is 50 pesos ($5) per hour. Laundry: Hand washed and returned to your room at 50 pesos ($5) for every 10 pieces of clothing (undergarments are considered 2 as 1).
